July was a busy time with Mom working from home and watching Jenna, and getting the routine back together, so we didn't have a whole lot of July pictures. August was a bit more calm as things worked themselves into a routine. As we started getting toys out for Jenna to stare at and reach for, Pierce decided he should get to play with them too.... August 27th was the planned visit for the Karner family (Jay's sister Debbie, her husband Terry and their two children Bryce and Katelyn) to come and visit us and meet Jenna for the first time. Grandma and Grandpa Kreibich came too. Unfortunately Mom was on call that weekend and the network blew up at about 2:30 that morning. So Mom and Jenna put in a 12+ hour work day starting at 2:30am, and was at work when everyone got there at 10:15. Dad and Pierce hosted lunch and everyone had a great time. Mom and Jenna got home about 4pm, got cleaned up just in time for everyone to come back for dinner.

Pierce had an excellent time playing with Katelyn and Bryce, he couldn't stop talking about them for weeks.
